What did the clothing look like in Medieval England?
Clothing showed the class/rank or status of the citizen. Only wealthy people could wear clothes inspired by the Kings and Queens of that era.
Peasant dresses were basic. The colours were dull and plain, as dyes were expensive. They were made out of cheap wool.
Wimples were square/circular material used by women to cover their hair, and it was draped over the head to shoulders.
